Welcome back. If you are new, this is the Tempt My Tummy Tuesday blog carnival. My twin sister, Lisa, and I co-host the fun. Please post a recipe, kitchen tip, fun food idea, or anything foodie related.
Today, we have Pie, Pie, Me- O-My! It is one of my all time favorites, Nutter Butter Frozen Peanut Butter Pie. Now... That is a NAME! It leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination, but let me tell you it is utter heaven. I know you will love this.
24 Nutter Butter cookies (try with all you might not to eat them... seriously)
1 Pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tub of Cool Whip
5 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1 Tbsp vanilla
CRUSH cookies and mix with butter. Then press in to the bottom of a pie plate
MIX the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip.
FREEZE 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and cookies.

How EASY is that? I KNOW! Get with it ladies, anyone can do this.

That sounds heavenly!
Uh, just so you know, Chris saw the picture of your pie. Oh me oh my... he wants one NOW. You know he is not a big sweet person, but HELLO... he wants THAT!!
YUM-O! I will be trying this one!
My husband loves peanut butter. I am going to have to try this.
Ooh, that sounds amazing!
Yummy. I can't wait to have a reason to make this! Well, I might just have to think of a reason because it looks really great!
Thanks for sharing!
Peanut butter desserts are my biggest food weakness. I just adore them. I'm definitely going to be trying this out at our next family get together. (You know, so that I don't get tempted to eat the whole thing by myself!)
I love Nutter Butters. They were my favorite cookie as a child. I'll have to try this recipe. Thanks for sharing.
I just love nutter butters...so this is calling my name :)
WOW! I love peanut butter!! This sounds absolutely scrumptious!
I've never seen that pie before and love it :) Thanks for sharing!
I make this same recipe. Only it has Hershey Bar shavings mixed in. I love how you used the cookies! My dad makes peanut butter pie too, and he loves nutter butters. I'll have to pass this tip onto him.
Oh this has to be delicious! I was looking for a new dessert to take to a church dinner. I believe I have found it!

This looks awesome! I can't wait to try it! Can't promise to save any for others though. I might keep it all for myself, LOL!
The pie sounds delicious and thanks for your comment on my blog. It made me laugh! I love your testimony. It is so sweet and wonderful how God works in our lives even when we just don't see hope, He gives us hope. Thank you for sharing it.
Lana,
It is so nice to meet you! I'm here via your sister's blog (via UBP). I'm a TX girl too (San Antonio). I enjoyed reading your testimony and poking about your blog. I'll be back and will subscribe to your feed!
Yum, yum, yum - once again yum! This sounds fabulous!
These butter pies are fab and so tempting, I just can't afford to miss. This would surely keep me busy in the kitchen. My kids just hug me for this.
I have so been wanting to try this. It is a bit different from another recipe I had found of this. Am definitely going to try this one. The kids will love it! Thanks for sharing.
