Well, I do not about you people, but it is HOT here already! Aurghhhh! I was hoping for a few more weeks of somewhat tolerable, but it looks like summer is here to stay in Texas. So, lets at least have some recipes that make me feel a little cooler, shall we?
Today I'm sharing a recipe with you that is OH SO EASY! I don't even know when I started making this, but I'm sure it was back in my Tyler days. You can change this up a little, so I will add in the variations for you.
I hope you enjoy... I think I'm making this again soon!
Creamy Lemonade Pie
Ingredients:
1 & 3/4 cup cold milk (SKIM MILK is just fine here)
2 packages Vanilla Jello instant pie filling
1 can (small) Lemonade THAWED (you may use limeade or pink lemonade)
8 oz. container Cool Whip (you can use FAT FREE)
2 graham cracker pie crusts
Pour milk in large bowl. Add pudding mixes and whisk for 30 seconds. Add Lemonade and whisk for another 30 seconds until thick. Stir in Cool Whip and spoon into crusts.
Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. You may also Freeze and serve for a firm, more ice- cream- like dessert.
(You may freeze one too keep for another day... that works very well)
I told you it was Easy!!!
As you see there a LOW fat version and it tastes just as good!

That is easy and the light version will be great. Thanks sissy!
Awesome! Do you think it would work to substitute homemade pudding in place of the Jello variety??? I would guess I would omit the milk then, since the pudding will already be "pudding" and not just a mix....
Oh yum! Don't you just love Kraft recipes! My favs!
Thanks for sharing!

oh it's so frustrating when I see recipes that look fantastic but use ingredients which just aren't available over here in the UK.
Yum! I love lemon things! :D Thanks for the yummy light lemon recipe!
Wow - this looks delicious and sounds easy enough that I could have my girls make it with me! Thanks for sharing!

Looks and sounds delicious, a great treat for a summer day !
How refreshing!
OH MY! that sounds soo wonderful! On my list for this week LOL!
Looks delish. In our family, we enjoy a "cooler" version of this. Mix 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream (softened) with 1 can thawed lemonade (or limeade, pink lemonade, or other yummy-sounding juice) concentrate. Mash mixture into graham cracker crust and refreeze. Top with Cool Whip & serve.
Oh yes! That is beautiful! Thanks for stopping by my blog---your blog, is adorable!!
OMGosh!!! I have got to save and try that one!!! Dd LOVES Lemonade!!!
We have this pie often in the summer. The low fat version sounds good too!
YUM, girl! I forgot about this pie...I make one similar (may be kind of the same ;))
